Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games in September - The Deer God and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Xbox One and Battlestations Pacific and Crysis 3 on Xbox 360.
On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download The Deer God (normally $14.99 USD) for free during the month of September. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition ($29.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from September 16th to October 15th.
On Xbox 360, starting Tuesday, September 1st, Battlestations Pacific ($24.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through September 15th. Then on September 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Crysis 3 ($19.99 ERP) for free through September 30th.
Titles are available as free downloads for qualifying Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available. Some regions may offer different titles depending on market availability.
Eidos Interactive, Inc. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announce that Battlestations: Pacific is set to release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows LIVE in North America on May 12, 2009. Battlestations: Pacific is rated "T" for Teen.
Battlestations: Pacific takes the critically-acclaimed action/strategy gameplay of Battlestations: Midway to the next level with more intense, strategic combat. Players can take to the skies and seas through two massive, action-packed campaigns across 28 missions, featuring some of the most decisive naval battles in history.
A historically accurate U.S. campaign puts players in command of the U.S. Navy's Pacific fleet through the Battles of Guadalcanal and on to Iwo Jima, Okinawa and victory. For the first time, players have a chance to rewrite history, commanding a Japanese campaign as the Imperial Japanese Navy from Pearl Harbor to Asia, Australia and beyond, expanding its empire throughout the Pacific Rim.
Battlestations: Pacific, the strategy game takes place in the Pacific theater of WWII and promises to be bigger, more intense and broader in scope than the first game in this series. The campaign mode will feature more than 28 story missions, and you can expect 21 new air, sea and undersea units.
Eidos said: "In the sequel, you'll be able to play as both the Americans and the Japanese in the single-player campaigns, and you'll find out what could have happened, if Japan had gained the upper hand against the United States."
