Predator: Hunting Grounds, the 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer experience from the asymmetrical multiplayer masters ILLFonic, Inc. Predator: Hunting Grounds Expands onto Xbox Series & PS5 alongside major content updates in 2024/25!

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an immersive asymmetrical shooter set in remote areas worldwide. Players are transported into the Predator universe, giving fans the closest experience to being in the films, where the Predator stalks the most challenging prey. Play as an elite special forces team member - the Fireteam - and complete paramilitary operations before the Predator finds you. Then again, what better way to bond with your fellow Fireteam than to try to turn the tables on the Yautja… Hunt the Hunter! Or play as the Predator to hunt the most worthy prey, choosing from your vast array of deadly alien tech to collect your trophies one by one. The Predator’s mission is clear: The Hunt. Study the warriors in the jungle and choose the best of the best to engage. Dispatch your targets and collect trophies to display as tokens of each hunt. Do not let your prey escape.

IllFonic will release two major upgrades in 2024. The April version 2.49 upgrade for the currently available PS4 and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) versions updates player movement, Predator and Fireteam weapon balance, UX improvements, and more. Look forward to more details on the Xbox and PS5 versions coming later this year, with new Predators on the horizon later this year and in 2025.

RIPOUT Shows Off Its Gruesome Gameplay In New Trailer

RIPOUT Shows Off Its Gruesome Gameplay In New Trailer

RIPOUT, the sci-fi horror FPS from 3D Realms (@3DRealms) and indie developer Pet Project Games (@PetProjectGames), just unleashed a new trailer for RIPOUT (@RipoutGame), the game that lets you tear apart aliens and use their limbs as weapons. RIPOUT gives a new meaning to the phrase "arm yourself". Watch the new "No Safe Place in Space" trailer if you dare.

Ripout Shows Off Its Gruesome Gameplay In The New “No Safe Place in Space” Trailer

RIPOUT is a co-op horror shooter where players will fight their way through abandoned, mutant-infested spaceships, collect loot, and customize their character in search of the last remaining bastion of humanity. Will you and your trusty Pet Gun find Sanctuary in time, or will you perish alongside the rest of Earth's residents?

Titled “No Safe Place in Space,” the new trailer showcases the haunting environments awaiting players and their trusty Pet Gun as they explore procedurally generated derelict ships where monsters lie in wait, danger lurks around every turn, and even ordinary objects can turn into lethal surprises!

Ripout features include:

  • Hazardous Levels: Players will discover a variety of levels, some on the verge of collapse, requiring platforming skills to traverse safely. Interactive machinery like retractable bridges offer new paths, but may draw hordes of monsters. Vents provide a claustrophobic challenge, as players are pursued relentlessly by smaller creatures.

  • Robots: Decommissioned robots may malfunction and become hostile. Avoiding contact with these hulking metal machines is often the safest way forward. Stealthily approach and deactivate them to gain resource rewards, or destroy them from a safe distance.

  • Mimic Chairs: Unassuming chairs become lurking enemies, mimicking ordinary seats while patiently awaiting their prey. Players must stay vigilant, promptly identifying and eliminating these mimics before they strike.

  • Mimic Doors: Even opening doors can become a tense experience, as monsters mimic doors until revealing themselves, armed with deadly close-range attacks and rifle fire. Players must utilize all available resources to combat these formidable adversaries.

  • Turrets: Derelict ships are equipped with dangerous turrets that can scan rooms, detect players, and unleash deadly firepower. Players can choose to dismantle them with precise shots or employ the Pet Gun's ferocious attack to tear them apart.

  • Steam Pipes: As ships crumble under pressure, ruptured steam pipes release scalding heat into the surroundings. Players must navigate these hazardous areas, either by avoiding the steam or cautiously ducking underneath to ensure safe passage.

  • Auxiliary Segments: Auxiliary Segments are special doors that hold valuable loot, guarded by locks and turrets. Players are encouraged to keep a keen eye out for these unique entrances while exploring, as the rewards they contain are well worth the effort.

RIPOUT launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC later this year.

Sci-fi Horror Game “Level Zero” confirmed for Xbox, PlayStation & PC

Sci-fi Horror Game “Level Zero” confirmed for Xbox, PlayStation & PC
Published by: forahobby on Thursday, December 15, 2022

tinyBuild and developer DogHowl Games announced that Level Zero, an asymmetrical PvP sci-fi horror game, will be available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC in 2023. Check out the official announcement trailer!

Asymmetrical PvP Sci-fi Horror Game 'Level Zero' announced for Xbox, PlayStation & PC

Level Zero is an asymmetrical PvP sci-fi horror game, where four defenceless scientists scramble for survival as two alien monsters hunt them from the darkness. Closed beta testing begins early next year. Sign up now to be one of the first to survive (or stalk) the shadows.

In Level Zero, light is life. The power is failing on an off-world research facility, and light-fearing monsters prowl the now-dark halls. Four human scientists race to repair the base's power systems before they're devoured by the nightmares lurking in the shadows. The science team must coordinate and communicate to search for vital tools, failing fuse panels and vital sources of light including flares and glowsticks. Without access to traditional weaponry, the scientists will have to improvise if they want to survive.

The opposing two players control an endlessly respawning duo of monsters. Efficient hunters, but vulnerable to light. Armed with lethal claws, blinding spit, biomechanical land-mines, organic EMP blasts and a ferocious psychic scream to disarm their prey, they are versatile and powerful hunters wherever shadows fall. Sensing the heartbeats of the scientists through solid walls, their mission is simple - no human survives the blackout.

Level Zero will launch in 2023 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC! Closed beta testing begins early next year. Sign up now to be one of the first to survive (or stalk) the shadows.

theHunter: Call of the Wild New England Mountains DLC Out Now On Consoles & PC
Published by: forahobby on Monday, December 05, 2022

New England Mountains, the latest DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild, is coming soon to Xbox and Playstation consoles, as well as PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store for 7.99€/$.

theHunter: Call of the Wild gets New England Mountains DLC On Consoles & PC

Coming soon to Xbox, PlayStation and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, the New England Mountains reserve gives Hunters the chance to explore and relax in stunning surroundings, hunt for three Great Ones, including the all-new Moose, and customise their weapons with unique New England Mountains-styled cosmetics.

Covering roughly a quarter of the state of New Hampshire, as well as portions of Western Maine, the White Mountains in the northern Appalachians served as the inspiration for the New England Mountains reserve. This vast new region gives Hunters a wonderful new area to explore, and it is teeming with wildlife to stalk and natural beauty to take in. So grab your gear and explore the majesty that is the New England Mountains!

Key Features:

  • Hunt in stunning surroundings: The New England Mountains reserve features varied landscapes shaped by the passing of time, from open alpine regions to coniferous and mixed woodlands interspersed with lakes and rivers. When you are tired from stalking deer through the spruce or hunting waterfowl along the bends of the river, there is no shortage of perfect opportunities to sit back and take in the picturesque environment around you.

  • Wildlife, Great Ones and refined classics: On the uplands and through the trees of the New England Mountains, Hunters have a wealth of wildlife to hunt – from the humble Ring-necked Pheasant to the sneaky Coyote and the majestic Moose. Speaking of the Moose, this gentle giant is now present as one of the extremely rare Great Ones alongside the equally giant Black Bear and the graceful Whitetail Deer. Not only do the Moose and Whitetail Deer have the Great One status in common - along with the stunning Red Fox, they are also among the three beautifully refined animals, who now look better than ever.

  • New weapon, unique cosmetics: Have it your way! Visit the Weapons Cache at any Outpost, and you will find a new weapon waiting for you. The Patriot is a powerful, modern 0.50 cal break-action muzzleloader made locally in New Hampshire. It is perfect for hunting large prey, but aim carefully – with great power comes… slow reload speed.

You will also receive two welcome gifts waiting for you: a free paint and a free camo. In addition, the store offers some unique New England Mountains-inspired cosmetic packs to customise your weapons: Paints, sprays, materials, camos and a unique wrap - whatever your flavour, we’ve got just the thing to make you feel right at home in the New England Mountains.

  • Free Granite Update – 60FPS + more wildlife: Alongside the New England Mountains reserve, we are excited to offer a series of free updates dubbed the Granite Update for theHunter: Call of the Wild:

    • The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will receive a framerate boost of up to 60 FPS for a smoother hunting experience.

    • Extra animal species across nearly every reserve, giving Hunters plenty of reason to revisit their old favourite spots in search of new prey.

    • Already own a previously released reserve? Want to give your weapons a unique flavour? Well, you’re in luck, because we are giving all Hunters two free, themed cosmetics for each reserve, which they already own – one paint and one camo. This includes the two reserves in the base game.

    • This update also includes a range of performance improvements and minor additions to make your gameplay more enjoyable - an updated Harvest screen with preview, the ability to place/remove waypoints when using binoculars, as well as improved stability on consoles and various minor tweaks across the game on all platforms.

The New England Mountains DLC is available now for Xbox, PlayStation and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store
