Its nice to meet you sik, hacker_girl and robbieboy! Looking forward to getting to know yall. X0333 and wes thanks for the advice! I decided instead of fishing through those parts at Lowes I'd just order a kit for convenience so its on the way, but I did see the list as well. I am getting new pads for the memory banks too, the ones on my box are all sticky and gummy so I figure it wouldn't hurt. Next up after this pesky RROD is gone will be case modding, since when this one went south I scooped up one from GameStop to replace it. So that should be fun Has anyone even come up with any way for homebrew software on the 360 yet? I "upgraded" the original xbox a couple years ago and have been curious as to what else can be done to the 360 so eventually I'll probably end up VIP for the extra discussion boards Well guess I better get back to work knockin some of these broken computers out, I'll be seeing everyone around! _________________________________________________________ Steve Baker
