Valkyrie Studios
Valkyrie Studios originally came together in 1994 at Viacom New Media, where they achieved great sucess with the release of MTV's Beavis and Butt-Head in Virtual Stupidity. Late in 1997, Viacom announced that it was closing down its Chicago development house, which left the team no choice but to start from scratch. The team then formed Valkyrie Studios, and went through a great ammount of difficulty releasing Septerra Core, its very highly anticipated role-playing game. Valkyrie did not give up, along with several other companies Septerra Core hit shelves in 1999, and was even nominated for RPG of the year by GameIndustryNews.
